Noah, the protagonist of this story , is a bit of a jerk. He's selfish and selfishly thinks that he's entitled to happiness. He thinks that he gets to be happy and anyone who tries to stop him from getting what he wants isn't worthy of his time. However, we all know better than this.
We know that we deserve happiness and we deserve to be loved and cared for by those who want the same things as us. I'm sure Noah would say more of the right things now if he knew how those words would have been used by those who said them with love, respect, and hope for a future together.
